Open to the Entire Community

Ellis Island is an incredible piece of Jewish and New York history, and we invite you to spend Veterans Day with Makom friends traveling to Ellis Island.

This event is taking place during the week that our greater community is hosting Israelis from P24 Thanks4Giving Project - first responders and their families from Kibbutzim on the Gaza Envelope. Makom is covering the cost for the Israeli guests who would like to attend this program. Just please put the names of your Israeli guests below.
This exhibit is recommended for people of all ages: singles, couples and families.

Makom has organized a bus to take us from Makom at the Bethpage Worship Center, 600 Broadway, Bethpage to Battery Park and group tickets on the ferry. We will pause at the Statue of Liberty (but not exit the ferry) and then make our way to Ellis Island.
We will spend several hours at Ellis Island, walking in smaller groups throughout the Museum. There is a cafeteria at Ellis Island where you can purchase lunch (not included in price) or you can bring your own lunch.
