Woodbury Jewish Center is an inclusive, egalitarian Conservative synagogue, deeply rooted in tradition yet forward-looking in its vision. Since our founding in 1988 as the first new Conservative synagogue in Nassau County in a generation, our congregation—now over 500 families strong—has flourished as a vibrant, multigenerational spiritual home. Our beautifully expanded facilities, completed in 2002 as part of the “L’Dor V’Dor” initiative, enable us to nurture all stages of Jewish life—from early childhood education and religious school to robust adult learning opportunities.
At Woodbury Jewish Center, prayer, learning, and community converge—our building reverberates with laughter from Early Education, enthusiasm from Religious School, and meaningful connections across generations. We offer a full schedule of services—livestreamed, on Zoom, and in person—ensuring all members can engage in worship, study, and celebration.
